Malta Web Services was created by Binky Crafts, a craft supplier and distributer offering thousands of items both from our shop in Victoria, Gozo and also via our online shopping website. After looking locally for web hosting options we found that services and prices varied greatly and having come from an IT business in the UK we decided to look into creating a more affordable service both for our customers and ourselves.

The choice was made to partner with one of the largest hosting providers in the world based in the USA and to offset the costs by offering space and bandwidth on the same servers for a Great Price. Our choice of partner means there will never be a problem caused by a damaged undersea cable or power problems which means world wide visitors will always be able to visit all of the websites on our servers even if there is a connection or power problem locally. After registering for the service it became very clear that many other hosting companies use this same service but with two main differences. . .

Firstly, we believe truth is the best policy and so we do not tell you that we have a "state of the art super server room" in Malta when the servers are, in fact, in the USA. It is very simple to look online and find out where in the world an actual domain is hosted, one such site can be found here and can give some interesting results if you input any domain name.

Secondly, we charge a very low price for the service and aim to be the cheapest solution in Malta. We ask our customers to send us details if they find a cheaper plan of the same specification or better specifications at the same price and we will aim to adjust our plans accordingly.

Both our Craft and web hosting businesses reliy on our web hosting to promote our products all over Malta and to the rest of the world and it is this same "Great Service" that we use, that we are offering to you for a "Great Price".
